Ultra Enemy of the State Strikes Back

It was truly shocking. The grand stadium from my home state had its roof collapsed, damaging about 50% of its structure!.

Come on... don't kid me... That is what I thought at first.

How could this happen? Yeah... that is the right question. Then, I received a confidential news from my anonymous source. I also received a few photo as the proof.

According to the anonymous source, at the time, there is an event involving lots of ultra man.

It was a perfect timing for their arch-enemy to make a sneak attack.

Hu hu... of course this is really a fiction to cover up. I hope the authority could come up with the truth, or more believable story than the story above.

Wedding of the Year ;-) In My Family

Yesterday (June 1st, 2009), my family got one additional member to our family. My younger sister, Ima is happily married now! The ceremony and the reception run smoothly without any issues. The marriage knot was tied at about 11:25am.

It was a situation with full mix of emotion. We were and are still happy with the wedding. However, somehow, we feel a little bit sad because my younger sister is no longer that small sister of mine. His husband, Fikri, assured us that he will take good care of this 'small' sister of ours.

Anyway, congratulations on the wedding, and may it last till the death. All of us (the family) are thrilled and excited to have you, Fikri, as our new brother in law.

They are cute, aren't they?

Anyway, some of the our close relative approached me, and told me that at first they thought (when receiving the invitation card) that the wedding is mine. That's logical for them to be confused at first since I am the older brother to Ima. However, all things happened by G0d's will. So, what's left is just effort (and prayers).

Mmmm... maybe that's why some of them tried to recommends me in knowing nice ladies they know. I gave them no answer regarding the recommendation.

Okay, we are looking forward to the bride's groom's reception on this coming June 13th in Kuala Kubu, Selangor. Mmm... I am not sure if I will be driving my car alone though.

What do You Want for Souvinir?

Finally, I already complete the 'shopping' of souvenirs for trip to Melbourne. Like most ordinary and extra-ordinary man, I don't really keen in shopping. Maybe, that's why I kept delaying this until the very last weekend.

Yup, I am going home soon, Tuesday. I enjoy my work assignment in Melbourne, and in the beginning I feel that it is still okay for me to stay here long. However, knowing that I will be returning home soon, it sparks joy in my heart. I wonder if there is anyone (or more) that will feel at joy waiting for me to fly back.

What do you want for souvenir? That is the question. You may not know what do you want I bring back home, but, anything should do, right? The thought that count most, isn't it.

What are the souvenirs that most people will bring back after an oversea trip. They might me:

disclaimer: this list is not actually the list of souvenir that I actually buy in this trip.

  • key chain
  • fridge magnet
  • short glass
  • cup base
  • shirt (and more specialized clothing ;-))
  • purse
  • hand bag
  • jewelry
  • ... and etc ;-)

In this trip, I don't buy any shirt as souvenir. Now, I appreciate buy them from Malaysia, branded or not, as they are made in Malaysia. Here in Melbourne, they are mostly made in China (although not necessarily design in China), and way too expensive. I could easily wait, and shop in Malaysia of which similar or higher quality but relatively cheaper price (by two or three magnitude, even for currency conversion)

The fire alarm was set off just now. I was cooking rice just now, and it was overcooked some of it turns to black carbon, and very smoky. Hu hu... Note to self, please stay in kitchen while cooking.

So, what do I buy for you? Well, it depends on when we meet, and while stock last.

See you soon. ;-)

Definitely, Maybe, What If?

First of all, the embedded player at the top will play the most favorite melody from the the film 'Definitely, Maybe'. There a lots of thing to be thought tonite. I guess, listening to this melody could make one to smile, and hopeful.

Okay, if you must ask, the music is the background music when the main protagonist proposed to the his most lovely lady in the movie - 'April (come she will)'.

Here is the thing to think about. Let say, if we don't have a car yet, and we want to buy a car. What should we do? Should we just pick up any car? No, right?

If you don't press the play button yet, now is the best time to do so. :-p

Definitely... or maybe we should look around first. Perhaps it is a good idea to test drive first. Survey various models and go to various show room. We should also consider whether we want a new car or second hand car. What is our choice.

I guess there is now straight answer here. It totally depends on self. What do we want, really? Do we know what we really want?

We know our affordability, and we know what is the car we want. "I want a new Honda City." We looked around and feel excited about it. However, we moved on, and rethink again. Do I really want it, and does it really wants me as the owner (what kind of question is this?)

After a while, we settle down with other car with lower installment, like, maybe Persona or Gen2. At least, it is still a new car, not second hand.

However, will we feel regret? What if we were to buy that Honda City instead. Bottom line, we already decided, and committed. It is not as easy as changing clothes. It is not a child game, my dear.

Pink

Thinking and thinking, this kind of dilemma is not just about car. I guess you could replace the word car with anything you do or will treasure most in life.

Looking to the future, G0d's will, everything will be good.
